Tour Overview

Join our exciting full-day 4x4 adventure exploring the Falklands’ extraordinary wildlife, scenery, and wartime history.

This small-group experience operates via 4x4 vehicles or 4x4 minibuses (depending on group size) and includes visits to two penguin colonies, plus a scenic city highlights tour of Stanley featuring the historic Lady Elizabeth Shipwreck.

You’ll encounter hundreds of Gentoo penguins, possibly spot King penguins (not guaranteed), and experience the charm and rugged beauty that make the Falklands so unique.

What to Expect?

🐧 Bertha’s Beach – Gentoo Penguin Encounter (Approx. 1 Hour)

Your expert guide will share insights into their nesting behavior, feeding habits, and family life, helping you capture amazing photos.

Experience a thrilling off-road drive through coastal terrain, even along the beach, as you enjoy breathtaking white sands and turquoise waters.

✅ Admission included in the tour price
✅ Toilet facilities available

🌊 Gypsy Cove – Wildlife & Scenery (Approx. 1 Hour)

Discover the stunning landscape of Gypsy Cove, home to Magellanic (Jackass) penguins nesting in sandy burrows among the dunes.

Take a short, easy walk to scenic viewpoints overlooking the turquoise waters and spot local wildlife, including upland geese, crested ducks, and turkey vultures.

Your guide will share fascinating facts about local conservation efforts and Falklands history.

📍 Please note: Yorke Bay remains closed due to bird flu restrictions; Gypsy Cove is included instead.
